The Haggis Shoot
These Haggis are a wily lot,
I've heard it said they're seldom shot
except in Kelso, where they say
that Bob McInnes makes 'em pay.
Through summer sun and winter snow
The Haggis are allowed to grow,
then when they're fattened for the kill
Bob's team of men lose all good will.
With Haggis guns they stalk their prey
Throughout the whole of "Hogmanay."
O'er mountain top and down the glen,
Bob's there to lead his merry men.
And when they sight the "Haggis troop"
They raise their guns to aim and shoot
but Bob's intent to make 'em pay
is not to blast the lot away.
Cos Lindsay likes 'em for the pot
and doesn't want them full of shot.
Bobs final choice is automatic
he kills the blooming lot with "Static."
